Have you ever felt like you can’t catch a break? I know that I have, the picture above is evidence of that! The past few weeks have been trying for us personally. The emotional and physical toll has left us weary. As I prepared for my sermon last week, I began to think about my temporary circumstances in light of the glorious salvation that has been given to me.

It is easy for us to focus on our circumstances and lose heart. Peter encouraged his audience to focus on the eternal hope that we have in Christ Jesus. I have been so encouraged by the many in our fellowship who have faced trials in the past month or two. I have been so encouraged by the faith of so many of you who keep pressing on towards the prize. It is a great honor to serve as your pastor. You are a blessing to me and my family. Thank you for your outlook and being faithful to the call!
