Isn't life messy sometimes? I was thinking about this as we began decorating the worship center for VBS this week. It is easy to see the mess and to get discouraged in the midst of it all. In the chaos it may seem daunting, but as we progress towards the finished product, we begin to see it all come together.

It's the same way in our journey with Christ. In the midst of all the chaos in our lives and the the world today, it is easy to get discouraged. However, God sees the bigger picture, His ways are greater than our ways and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. God works through all of the chaos to bring about His purposes for His glory. Every day we are one step closer to the finished product, we are called to run this race of life with endurance. When our eyes our fixed on Jesus we see Him bring order out of chaos. Don't lose hope!

As our church prepares for VBS, I want to say thank you to all who have so graciously given of your time and resources to make it happen this year! It has been a tremendous joy to see our church in our neighborhoods over the past few months.
