Northside Beacon

My heart is full today! It has been amazing to see all of those in our church generously give of their time, energy, and finances to further the mission that God has called us to at Northside Highlands!

Over the past two months we have been in five different neighborhoods handing out snow cones and promoting Vacation Bible School. On Saturday we had a team from First Baptist Church College Station join us to hang door hangers in seven different neighborhoods in Baytown, Crosby, and Highlands. We hung over 1000 door hangers!

On Sunday, we had a block party here at the church! We were blessed with great weather and a fun time of fellowship with one another! A small team from Maplewood First Baptist Church in Sulphur, LA joined us and helped out as we prepare for Vacation Bible School!

As we begin VBS tonight, I want to encourage you to pray fervently for the souls who will be present in our church over the next four days. As of today we have nineteen children signed up for Vacation Bible School. Pray for those who have signed up already and for those who we will meet for the first time tonight. Pray that children will come to know Him through the teaching of His Word at VBS!

We still have plenty of room for more children to join in this week! They don't have to preregister to join us, but it will save some time if they do! You can register using the link below or register in person. I am excited to see what the Lord does this week!
